Abstract

Modern tourism is among the industries that significantly influence people's daily lives and leisure activities. With the increasing diversity in the motives for taking a trip, their choice is primarily determined by the characteristics and perceptions of the place of consumption of tourism products - the tourist destination. Bulgaria as a country actively developing tourism needs the basic theory in this important field of scientific knowledge.
